Bill Dawson
Business Development Manager
Bill is skilled at conceptualizing and proposing innovative waste management solutions for the packaging and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and wastes.  He has 20 years of experience in the environmental services industry in the areas of business development and project management, including direct project experience in industrial and hazardous waste transportation and disposal, industrial facility and laboratory closures, lagoon closures, sludge stabilization and treatment, and soil and groundwater remediation.


Scott Dempsey
Vice President/Director of Sales and Marketing

Scott is a nuclear industry veteran with extensive experience in nuclear power plant operations, commercial waste processing and waste transportation and disposition. Overall, he has over 20 years experience in packaging, transporting, and dispositioning radioactive, hazardous, and industrial wastes. Scott spent seven of the 20 years working in the commercial nuclear field and four years in the radioactive waste processing field. Scott has been with MHF since 2000 and oversees all MHF business development and marketing activities.


William L. Follett
Vice President, Packaging Services
Bill has more than 30 years of experience in the remediation and environmental services industry.  His technical expertise includes hazardous waste site remediation, landfill capping and closure, emergency response, soil excavation, facility decontamination, low level radiological waste cleanup, waste transportation and disposal and demolition.  He is experienced in the development and execution of work plans, costs estimates, spill safety plans, and project scheduling. 


Douglas W. Hatch, CHP
Director of ES&H/QA
Doug has more than 26 years of experience in the fields of Environmental Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Health Physics.  A Certified Health Physicist, he has extensive experience working in highly regulated environments.  Doug is responsible for regulatory compliance and quality assurance for all phases of MHF operations, including interpreting and complying with US DOT regulations as well as ensuring that MHF operations meet regulatory and industry standards for safety and security.  He oversees implementation of the MHF NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program.
 

Robert Shawver
President and CEO
Bob has over 20 years of executive experience in environmental- and energy-related businesses and has extensive operational, financial, and strategic experience. Since 2009, Bob has served as President and CEO of MHF Services, re-establishing this business as an industry leader for transportation and packaging of environmentally sensitive materials, including radioactive materials for the commercial nuclear and DOE markets. Prior to his tenure at MHF, Bob served for 20 years as executive vice president and CFO of Duratek, a $300 million publicly traded radioactive materials services and technology firm.  While at Duratek he was instrumental in commercializing the company's vitrification technology, forming key strategic alliances, raising capital, and successfully executing an aggressive acquisition program resulting in the company expanding its revenues ten-fold.


Michael W. Snyder
Project Manager – Field Operations
Mike has extensive experience in the nuclear industry as a consultant and project manager.  He has a stellar record for completing projects ahead of schedule and significantly under budget.  An expert in nuclear decommissioning, Mike’s approach has been to focus on the management of resultant radioactive waste from project conception.  He is a member of the National Registry of Radiation Protection Technologists and the Northern California Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Material Managers.


Robert C. Woodburn
Director of Operations
Rob has more than 17 years of management experience on government, commercial nuclear power plant, and chemical site projects requiring hazardous material and select large-component transportation.  He has successfully managed multiple projects for MHF involving the transport of over-dimensional radioactive components for nuclear power plants. Rob is responsible for management of MHF’s Operations Department and the oversight of all projects and related equipment.  Rob oversees all MHF in-house Project Management staff as well as field personnel at the MHF transload facilities.  He is responsible for ensuring that MHF project operations are compliant with DOT, EPA, NRC, and OSHA regulations.
